Wow! What an incredible weekend! On behalf of both Chris and I, we want to thank all involved in making this
camp a huge success.
Special thanks goes to our sponsors, Rowers Gone Bad, Hudson Boat Works, and Kish Studio for their
amazing support. Sharron and Karen from RGB provided athletic Ts for all of the class participants, Craig, Scott
and Glen from Hudson provided a tour of Hudson Boat Works and apparel for everyone, and Scott from Kish
studio who provided a painting valued at approximately $150 which was raffled off as a door prize as well as
two paintings that were given as gifts to our speakers. These people were all very influential in the direction of
OARS Coaching and the camp.
We would also like to thank Dr. Volker Nolte and Barney Williams. The entire group benefited from their
expertise as they answered every one of the groups' questions over lunch. Their talks were very specific to the
group at hand which made them incredibly valuable to the quality of the camp.
Most of all, we would like to thank the people that took a chance on the 'new guys' and came to London for the
weekend. The group of Tracey, Mary, Richard, Vanessa, Sandra and Karen was a thrill to work with and we
wish them all the success in the world. This group completed two erg sessions, and an indoor soccer game
with nothing but enthusiasm. We hope that the video analysis and the personalized packages we provided will
benefit you in your training and help you enjoy the sport just that little bit more. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
If anyone wants to meet us personally who has questions about what we are all about, Chris and I will be
attending Canadian Erg Championships. Also, stay tunned for more Coaching Tips and an announcement of
new OARS Coaching programs and our next camp!
